Cycling Africa - A look at African cycling today and tomorrow
In February 2025, Bengale accompanied Maxime Auburtin on a 10-day shoot at the heart of the Tour of Rwanda. Between interviews and immersion filming, we set out to meet the athletes, trainers and institutions shaping the future of African cycling.
Against a backdrop of Africa's gradual emergence on the world stage, this documentary highlights a new generation of champions, for whom training plays a key role.
The film then took shape over five weeks of editing, combining sporting intensity, stories from the field and transmission issues.
